BRITTANY ZUCKER M.S. CCC-SLP, C-SLDI, A/OGA

Brittany Zucker is a Language & Literacy Interventionist based in NYC. She is ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certified and holds a TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities). Brittany received a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from CUNY Hunter College. She is certified in Orton Gillingham at the Associate Level through the Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA) and is a certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist through the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). Brittany has also co-authored the book, "The Speech & Language Pathologist's Guide To Dyslexia," which is available to purchase on Amazon and Barnes & Nobles.
Brittany's past experiences have included working with toddlers, school age, and adolescent children in school settings. She currently works full time and provides in-home private language therapy and structured, multisensory reading intervention after school hours. Brittany is trained in Teaching Basic Writing Skills: The Hochman Method, Lively Letters as well as Preventing Academic Failure (PAF), which is an Orton-Gillingham based reading intervention program that integrates reading, writing, and spelling.
Brittany is always committed to taking any available extra steps to ensure her clients have the best opportunity to reach their full potential. She works collaboratively with parents and teachers and provides each child with unique opportunities to develop and enjoy learning, while methodically teaching them the necessary skills to overcome their personal challenges.
